About the Symbol

The Symbol came to me in a dream 20 years ago. In the dream I found myself in a Veteran's Ward of a hospital. All the beds were made and no one was there. I wanted to lay down, but I didn't think it was OK. Someone told me that it was OK. Then there was a shift of sorts and I was handed a very white symbol and awakened. The Veteran's ward I related to Vietnam but I had no reference to the symbol. The symbol resembled something like what a Shepard would use yet it was more stylized. It felt like a strong yet warm message to do something with it. I did some research and I found that Bishops in the Catholic Church carry something similar called a Crosier. What I took from the dream was a message to lead, and to teach leadership. To me it honors all the men and women who gave their lives for their country. Since I am a Vietnam Vet, that war comes up in particular, but I want it to honor all that have served. It has inspired my leadership and my desire to see others lead with conviction for a greater good. I was inspired to create a hat with the symbol and I will be having a shirt made as well.
